This sweet, beautiful mare needs a forever home.  Her owner can no longer afford to keep her.  She has had two years off from riding … she’s been an excellent mom and a wonderful companion horse during that time.  Gwen was purchased at the auction in September 2006.  She walked, trotted, cantered and jumped quite nicely in the auction ring, which is all we know about her under saddle.  She’s a beautiful mover on the longe line.  Probably would do best with a small, confident rider.  She loads, trailers, clips, cross-ties, loves to be groomed and bathed, impeccable ground manners, extremely sweet disposition, gets along with all other horses.  She has a slight issue with with one hind leg, but as long as you are gentle with her she’s no problem for picking out her feet or having her feet trimmed.  She’s slightly afraid of needles, but certainly not dangerous about it.  She is 14.2 hands tall and approximately 12 years old.  She’s sound, healthy, current on vaccinations, deworming, hoof care, and dental work.  She is free to a good, permanent home within central New Jersey.
